Advanced Standing Option
The Advanced Standing option waives 30 credit hours of coursework — shortening the length of time it takes you to earn your MSW degree and work towards your clinical license. If you qualify, you’ll focus solely on the advanced curriculum. Your former social work education and experience is considered when determining if you qualify. Learn from a Clinical MSW Curriculum
The online MSW enhances your skills and knowledge through a rigorous curriculum. The full clinical MSW curriculum takes you through all foundation and advanced courses, so if you’re changing careers or the focus of your practice, you’ll be well prepared to meet the challenges of a variety of professional roles and client issues as a clinical social worker. If you qualify, the Advanced Standing option takes you through the advanced curriculum only. The curriculum covers critical social work topics including:
