Tuition at The Catholic University of America

A degree is an investment in your future. We know the costs associated with a professional education can seem daunting, and we’re here to help you figure out a responsible, realistic way to afford it.

At The Catholic University of America, we strive to keep our tuition rates competitive, and by earning your degree online, you will eliminate costs for transportation, parking, and housing.

Your tuition is calculated at a cost-per-credit rate based on the program you choose and the number of credits for which you register. You may review our current cost-per-credit hour rate here.

One often-unexplored option for financial help is to ask your employer about tuition reimbursement. Many employers recognize that having employees with advanced degrees and updated skills can be an asset to their organization. Check with your company’s human resources department to find out if there is an official policy on tuition reimbursement. If not, you may still be able to secure full or partial reimbursement by talking to your supervisors about how helping to pay for your degree at The Catholic University of America can benefit the company as a whole.

For example:

  • By investing in you, your organization will be able to save money it might otherwise spend on recruiting and training a new employee.
  • The Catholic University of America’s online degree programs are focused on practical applications you can use in the real world, right away—helping you to become a more productive employee.
  • Our degree programs are completely online, and you complete coursework on your own schedule, so your studies will not interfere with your work responsibilities.
