Online Learning at The Catholic University of America

If you have never taken an online course before, you are probably wondering how it works. You will read lessons, complete assignments, and engage in discussions with your classmates and your instructor, just as you would in a traditional classroom-based course—only these activities will take place online. You can access the online learning environment at any time of the day or night and complete your coursework when it’s convenient for you, as long as you meet the deadlines set by your instructor.

You won’t be on your own. In addition to the contact you will have with your instructor and classmates, you will also have access to 24/7 technical support and other support services when you need them. At The Catholic University of America, we are here to help make sure your educational experience is a rich and fulfilling one.
